
Today was day 1 of the NCESD Leadership Summit. Thanks to a generous grant from the MD 19 Lion’s Foundation, Cascade administration was able to attend. It was a great day of learning and collaboration. We're planning for and looking forward to a great 2024-2025 school year!


The Peshastin Public Library is holding a performance and celebration of the students from their Folkloric Dance Series on Saturday, August 17 at 11 am in the PD gym. Come support these talented children!

Cascade School District and Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance are partnering to build a new trail from access points located behind Icicle River Middle School and Cascade High School to the top of Rattlesnake Hill. Work will begin July 8th and will be completed approximately at the end of August 2024. Access to Rattlesnake Hill will be closed to all use during this time.

Cascade School District supports families of students in grades K-8 who choose home-based education through our Alternative Learning Experience, Cascade Home Link. Our teachers collaborate with parents to create individualized Student Learning Plans that cover core subjects, while offering flexible indoor and outdoor enrichment classes. Recently, Icicle River Middle School (IRMS) was recognized for growth in student achievement for students with disabilities by the State Board of Education, the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction, and the Educational Opportunity Gap Oversight and Accountability Committee as part of the Washington School Recognition Program based on assessment results from the 2022-2023 school year.
