I graduated from CSD in 2016 and did all my schooling at CSD. I hardly knew English when I entered Kindergarten, but I quickly picked up on it with the help and support from Peshastin-Dryden Elementary School. I'm thankful to be that person for students and families whose primary language is Spanish.

Sports at Cascade School District have helped me develop responsibility skills, time management, and organization. I have to be able to maintain the balance between the sports schedule and my classes.

I really love having the green mixed recycle bins in each classroom. My classroom bin is filled up each week. Kids are aware and willing to make a difference by finding the right place for their mixed materials. We even use the cans for upcycled art projects in the sculpture class.

My friends and teachers at CHS have always supported me by encouraging me to push my boundaries, explore new areas of interest, and have always taught me valuable life skills.

Cascade High School has helped me pursue my goal of going to college by having a class called AVID which helped me explore colleges and do campus tours.

I was able to take course credits to practice my skiing during school hours, and because of that I will be attending Dartmouth College and competing as a Division 1 Ski Racer.
