As law enforcement activity continues at Valley Hi this afternoon, the Route 9 bus will not make its usual stops at Valley Hi and Blu-Shastin RV park. For families with bus riders who usually get off at those stops, we ask that you meet the bus at the corner of HWY 97 and Campbell Road, near the Leavenworth Shuttle driveway, at 3:27 pm. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we work to ensure safe and reliable transportation for all students.
Due to law enforcement activity in Valley Hi, Cascade School District is encouraging families in the Valley Hi/Ingalls Creek area to stay secure in their homes this morning until they receive any new notifications from the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office. Valley Hi and Blue-Shastin RV park bus stops on route 9 are cancelled this morning and all other stops on route 9 will run 10 minutes late. Any student absent today from those stops will be excused. Student safety is our #1 priority.
Happy kindergarten graduation to the future Class of 2037!
