Participants in WAS can:
• Earn UW college credit and gain an academic edge.
• Work closely with STEM professionals, university students, and educators.
• Build confidence, maturity, and independence.
• Have fun learning about the universe while connecting with peers.
• Gather information about possible college and career pathways in STEM or in the space industry.
• Apply for college and aviation scholarships from the Boeing Academy for STEM Learning.
• Participate in behind-the-scenes tours of The Museum of Flight.

The PAEMST Award Cycle Application is Now Open! Nominate an Exceptional Secondary Science Teacher Today. The Presidential Award for Excellence in Math and Science Teaching is the nation's highest honor for science educators. Academically talented high school students such as Caroline have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 6,870 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $26 million that will be offered next spring. Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is installing gravel on Saturday 9/21 from 8-2 pm on the new and improved Rattlesnake Hill Trail behind IRMS and CHS. If you are a hard worker and have time available for a few hours to help with the trail, they could use the help!
