Miller Street Kitchen & Catering, part of Visconti’s Hospitality Group in the Wenatchee Valley, will launch a community initiative called Meals with Meaning: School Edition, centered around the theme “Serving Those Who Serve Our Schools.”
Through this program, they are inviting the public to nominate a local school where they will provide lunch for the entire school staff — their treat.
The goal is to recognize the teachers, aides, counselors, office staff, and custodians who support students and families every day. They are accepting nominations for schools in Wenatchee, East Wenatchee, Cashmere, and Leavenworth (which includes Beaver Valley and Peshastin-Dryden Schools), and nominations are open for 28 days starting February 1st and ending February 28th. A winner will be announced on April 13th and they serve lunch at one school on May 5th.
