Alpine's students have been hard at work creating art this past month. They have also enjoyed several engaging art games, including a “blind drawing” activity where students drew on top of their heads for a fun and imaginative challenge. Fourth and fifth graders designed spinning thaumatropes—art pieces with two images that appear as one when spun. Third graders created community flower vases inspired by the expressive work of Vincent van Gogh.
