Art class has been very busy with creative art and learning during April and May!
3rd grade has been working on "Currents of Connection" and creating posters for the Salmon Festival. While all the creativity was happening, they also have been learning about the life cycle of salmon. If you have a chance to go visit Rocky Reach Dam you will get to see the 3rd graders posters on display.
Amazing arrays of patterns were created by the 4th grade as they learned the history of origami! They created various animals using origami and they created colorful backgrounds using radial symmetry.
5th grade created their own watercolor aquariums and decided what lives in their aquariums. Plaster masks are now what they are creating now.
