Welcome to the Resource Room!
This class helps students bridge the gap from special education to general education. We use specially designed curriculum to reinforce our strengths and support our challenges in this classroom. 

I have over 30 years of teaching experience in general education and special education to support your child. I work closely with para educators and classroom teachers to give your child an enriched learning experience. Icicle River MIddle School has a warming and caring environment for your child to learn and grow. It is the best place to be!

  • I am looking forward to meeting all the new sixth grade students and parents on August 30 from 5:30-6:30. I would love to see my seventh and eighth grade students also. Please stop in to say, "Hello".

  • How do students turn in assignments?

    In class learning, will be though paper and pencil assignments and Canvas.  

    All assignments should be turned in through your student's Canvas account. For information on how to access Canvas for Parents, please follow the link to learn more. Students use their computer sign-in information to sign into Canvas at, https://cascadesd.instructure.com

  • Where can i find my student's assignments?

    In your student's Canvas account there is a calendar on the dashboard with all their assignments for the week. You should be able to access this from the Canvas Parent App. If you haven't set up your Canvas Parent App yet, please contact me for your pairing code. We are now working exclusively in Canvas. For Resource, students will be working on reading, writing and, or math per their individualized plan. The link for Canvas is https://cascadesd.instructure.com/. Students use their computer login to access Canvas. If you student needs help remembering their login information, please contact me, shove@cascadesd.org.
