Career & Technical Education (CTE)Cascade's CAREER & TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE) program works with our students to offer courses that specialize in skilled trades, applied sciences, modern technologies, and career preparation. We also work with local businesses to provide the opportunity to gain work experience through internships, job shadowing, and industry-certification opportunities. We are very proud of the program we offer and encourage you to explore this webpage to learn more about our Cascade CTE program and its instructors & students. On the left side of this page, you will see eleven different career pathways offered at CHS for graduation (min. 2 classes).
Between dual credit (47 CTE credits available), college in the classroom (55 college credits available), and advanced placement (AP) courses offered (20 college credits available), Cascade High School boasts a total of 122 college credits available to students. In addition, we have six industry standard certifications (AutoCAD, Firefighting I, red card (wildland firefighting), first aid/CPR, food handlers permits, and MOUS - Microsoft Office User Specialist) that students can earn. There are seven career connected learning programs students can get involved in. We also offer five different leadership organizations that students can participate in. To learn more about these offerings, contact Kirk Sunitsch, CTE Director.
