I am hearing from some families wanting to know more specifics about Kodiak Cubs Preschool for the beginning of school. Earlier I posted two "storyboards" outlining our options for the start of school. We were very hopeful that our Plan A, with in person instruction in "dens", would be how we would begin the 2020-21 school year.
However, as you may know, the Cascade School District is adopting the Continuous Learning 2.0 model, which means we are, district-wide, going to remote learning, for the time being. For Kodiak Cubs, this means we will be using our Plan B model until further notice.
We want to get the year started off by building and strengthening relationships, engaging in fun and effective learning, and just enjoying ourselves! I trust that all of our veteran Kodiak Cubs families will help me in teaching our new families to "Go with the flow" and that we will all take this new challenge with our Kodiak Can-Do Spirit! It's not what we hoped for, but we are going to have fun anyway, right?!!!
I've been busy learning all sorts of new techie fun stuff and my video production skills are awesome (as you know🤩). So, we are going to build the biggest and best virtual preschool anywhere. I know you all have a lot of questions about details and specifics. I promise you I'm working on it! When I have it all set in place I will let you know. Right now you can help me out by asking me questions when you have them. You can always contact me at email@example.com and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Take care everyone! All my love and best wishes to you all!!!
About Early Learning Programs
The Cascade School District believes in the importance of the early years for all of our students. Because we want to best serve the children of our community we provide both preschool and Pre-Kindergarten programs with a variety of times to suit the needs of families. We have a highly qualified and experienced professional staff, including a full-time certified teacher, a full-time aid, and a full component of special services, including Speech and Fine/Gross Motor Therapy. Classes are open until filled. Students who are eligible for special education services have a priority. A waiting list will be developed when classes are full.
