IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW ABOUT ENROLLMENT AT BEAVER VALLEY
-
Dear Families:
Thank you for your interest in having your child attend Beaver Valley School for Kindergarten. Beaver Valley is limited to 36 students due to space and being designated a Remote and Necessary School by the State of Washington. We have an increase in enrollment in the K-2 grades over the past few years. In an attempt to balance out the grades at Beaver Valley, we will be limiting Kindergarten enrollment to ten (10) students for the 2023-2024 school year.
The following process will be used to determine if a student will attend Beaver Valley for Kindergarten:
- Location of residence
- Students in Zone 1 are automatically enrolled
- Students in Zone 2 have priority over students in Zone 3
- History of Siblings attending Beaver Valley School
- A lottery will be held prior to June 1, 2023 to determine enrollment if there are more than ten (10) students interested in attending Beaver Valley School.
- Students who are not selected will attend Kindergarten at Peshastin-Dryden Elementary School.
Please turn in the enrollment packet as soon as possible! If you have questions, please contact me at 548-5839 or ksinger@cascadesd.org.
Sincerely,
Kenny Renner-Singer
