Dear Families:

Thank you for your interest in having your child attend Beaver Valley School for Kindergarten. Beaver Valley is limited to 36 students due to space and being designated a Remote and Necessary School by the State of Washington.  We have an increase in enrollment in the K-2 grades over the past few years.  In an attempt to balance out the grades at Beaver Valley, we will be limiting Kindergarten enrollment to ten (10) students for the 2023-2024 school year. 

The following process will be used to determine if a student will attend Beaver Valley for Kindergarten:

1. Location of residence
   1. Students in Zone 1 are automatically enrolled
   2. Students in Zone 2 have priority over students in Zone 3

2. History of Siblings attending Beaver Valley School

3. A lottery will be held prior to June 1, 2023 to determine enrollment if there are more than ten (10) students interested in attending Beaver Valley School.

4. Students who are not selected will attend Kindergarten at Peshastin-Dryden Elementary School.
