Partnering with schools across Washington State. Here’s how the InvestED program works.
At the beginning of the school year, InvestED provides funding to partner schools. Funds are allocated based on the student population and percentage of students qualifying for the Free and Reduced Lunch program based on their family income.
During the school year, school personnel that are trained as InvestED coordinators help individual students in need. Funds can be used for covering academic testing fees, sports equipment, activity fees, renting musical instruments, field trips, clothing, basic needs and more. In addition to our partnership, InvestED supports local school fundraising efforts by matching donations through our Matching and Adopt-a-School programs.
At the end of the year, school coordinators provide an annual report on how the money was spent and the demographic data on students served. They also share personal stories of the students impacted by InvestED programs. We track this progress and work to grow our impact!
