Racial Justice

Inclusive Justice Resources for Families

  • Conversations about race, racism, and identity are challenging, but they are vital to the health and well-being of our community.  Talking with young children about racial equity, justice, and issues of inclusion may seem unnecessary, but little kids have legitimate questions about people different from themselves.  They also have questions about themselves and their family.  Taking the time to answer in a loving, fair, and equitable way will assist their growth and development in positive ways.  At Kodiak Cubs we want to celebrate the beauty and diversity of the families we serve, while also being an illustration of inclusive justice work.  Included below are some links to resources you can use with your family and young children.
