Icicle River Middle School students are invited to attend Debate Spaces Academy at no cost - just enter the referral code “Icicle River”. Debate Spaces uses debate to foster activism while connecting students and imparting real-world skills. The monthly half-day Academy workshops are offered remotely and are open to all middle school students. In these workshops students build their debate skills through games, learn about social issues from activists, and participate in a debate round facilitated by world-class debaters. No debate or other experience is needed. You can register for one or multiple sessions (always at no-cost to the Icicle River community).
